Since childhood we are often programmed and conditioned by our parents, mentors, teachers and influencing people. Sometimes the association of our perception can be faulty and sometimes our experiences can be unpleasant, which leads to scars and wounds on our delicate hearts and brains. It’s important to remember that our parents did the best they could with the level of information, education, and emotional/mental maturity they had, but it was our immatured state of mind or may be due to ignorance and lack of guidance, we had created the wounds.

The inner childhood wounds are the times we may have felt unsafe, unprotected and we were frozen, and  not knowing how to keep ourselves safe. Sometimes it can be simple erroneous  programming or belief system we have developed due to our partial understanding of the situation or due to our immatured mind perceptions and perspectives. We are disconnected from our authentic sacred space within our ownselves. When we are disconnected, we feel lethargic, bored, unhappy, not self loving, sabotaging our own happiness, lonely, and empty.

It is important that we stay connected with this sensitive part of ourselves. When we are connected to our inner child, when we are aware of the childhood emotional wounds we carry in the present times, we are a better adult individual responsible for our happiness. We may not feel same helpless, hopeless, powerless, victimized when we heal the wounds. We start to feel excited, invigorated, and inspired by life.
